Sportradar has signed a multi-year partnership with NBC Sports Regional Sports Networks to enhance NBA broadcasts with advanced data and real-time visual storytelling. The agreement will see Sportradar’s NBA data and its AI-driven GameFrame technology integrated across hundreds of live games during the 2025–26 and 2026–27 seasons, sharpening how fans experience the action.

GameFrame transforms official NBA player-tracking data into on-air graphics, animated replays, shot charts and contextual insights—delivered live. The goal is simple: add clarity to complex moments, explain strategy as it unfolds, and make broadcasts more engaging without interrupting the flow of the game.

“This agreement builds upon our long-standing relationship with NBC and reflects how we continue to expand the ways we support their live sports coverage,” said Brian Josephs, Vice President, The Americas at Sportradar. “As NBC continues to evolve how it serves fans across platforms, Sportradar is helping deliver the data-driven tools that bring greater clarity and context to live games, creating more engaging NBA viewing experiences for fans.”

“Enhancing the viewing experience is essential to our NBA coverage across regional sports networks,” added Jon Slobotkin, SVP, Content & Live Programming at NBC Sports Regional Networks. “Sportradar’s GameFrame offers a new way to add data-driven insights directly into live coverage, bringing visually stunning stories that resonate with today’s fans.”

The technology will appear across hundreds of NBA telecasts on NBC Sports Regional Sports Networks, giving local audiences:

  • deeper insights into game strategy,

  • engaging visual storytelling, and

  • enhanced explanations of on-court action.

This move reflects a broader trend in sports broadcasting where live analytics and real-time stats are becoming essential for modern fans who want context and depth alongside play-by-play coverage.
